Juice Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established lettings and property management business based in Bristol, with the appointment of an Accountant to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-focused and proactive finance professional to join a busy and fast-moving property environment. The role is hands-on and varied, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
This position offers genuine long-term progression, with the successful candidate gradually taking on increased responsibility and moving towards ownership of the internal finance function.
Key Responsibilities
• Processing and reviewing rental income, landlord payments, and tenant transactions
• Reconciling bank accounts, client accounts, and supplier ledgers
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Monitoring cashflow, income collection, and arrears reporting
• Supporting purchase and sales ledger activity, including invoice processing and payments
• Working closely with lettings and property management teams to resolve finance-related queries
• Ensuring compliance with property accounting regulations and client money handling requirements
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial reporting activities
• Taking on increasing responsibility for internal finance operations as the role develops
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who are hands-on, accurate, and eager to develop within a growing business.
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role (property sector experience highly desirable)
• Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across non-finance teams
• Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn and progress
