You'll be supporting across multiple divisions and offices, working closely with fee earners and senior stakeholders to deliver targeted, high-impact BD activity.
The Role:
Reporting into the Director of Marketing and Business Development, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of divisional business development plans and strengthening the firm’s approach to client engagement, pitches, campaigns and CRM activity.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting lawyers and internal stakeholders with business-as-usual BD activity, including identifying cross-selling and new business opportunities
- Collaborating on the delivery of high-quality proposals and pitch documents
- Helping to develop and coordinate BD activity across major campaigns and client initiatives
- Managing CRM insights via Peppermint to monitor BD performance and support targeting efforts
- Producing internal reports, analysing ROI and supporting the wider marketing team with business intelligence and client feedback
- Supporting the implementation of structured BD processes and contributing to strategic reporting
We’d love to see:
- 18 months to 2 years’ experience in a business development or marketing role, ideally within the legal sector
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong proofreading ability
- Confident stakeholder management skills – comfortable building relationships across all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel particularly useful)
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like Peppermint or ClickDimensions is an advantage
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to suggest improvements or take ownership of small projects
