Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading national Facilities Management organisation in their search for a Field-Based (North & Midlands) Business Development Manager to join their team.
You will be completely remote based, with no expectation to go to their office. However, you will be very customer focused and field-based, attending client meetings throughout the North & Midlands (e.g. Sheffield, Manchester, Derby, Coventry, Nottingham etc). Responsible for taking qualified business opportunities through the sales process and converting them into successful contract wins. You will spend the majority of your time meeting clients, visiting sites, understanding their requirements, developing commercial solutions and presenting proposals to senior decision-makers.
The successful candidate will have strong commercial awareness, excellent numerical ability to and a proven track record of winning substantial service contracts.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Taking ownership of qualified business opportunities through to contract award.
- Conducting customer site visits in the Northern region to understand operational requirements and service needs.
- Building strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Understanding the customer's current operation, challenges and pain points.
- Developing tailored service solutions based on the customer's requirements.
- Producing accurate and commercially robust costings for the client.
- Ensuring proposals deliver strong financial returns for the business.
- Preparing and delivering professional client presentations and proposals.
- Leading negotiations and manage the opportunity through to close.
YOU WILL HAVE:
- Proven B2B business development / contract sales experience.
- Demonstrable experience of winning very high value contracts.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Excellent numerical and costing ability.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
AND FOR YOU:
- Basic salary of up to £50,000, depending on experience.
- Company car.
- Significant earning potential and commission structure.
