Are you a creative and ambitious designer looking to take the next step in your career? Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a successful and growing consumer products business in the search for a talented Junior Designer to join their dynamic creative team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a design professional with a passion for branding, packaging, and product-led design to contribute to an exciting portfolio of products sold across the UK and internationally.
The Role
Working closely with the wider creative team, you'll play a key role in developing engaging and commercially focused designs across a variety of product ranges and marketing materials.
This is a varied position where you'll have the opportunity to bring ideas to life from concept through to final artwork, helping to create products that delight customers and stand out in a competitive marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating innovative and eye-catching design concepts
- Producing artwork for packaging, products and print materials
- Supporting the development of new product ranges
- Preparing artwork for print and production
- Ensuring designs align with brand guidelines and customer requirements
- Collaborating with internal departments to deliver projects on time
- Researching current design, retail and consumer trends
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively
About You
We're looking for a creative individual with a strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for great design.
Ideally, you'll have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or a related field
- Previous experience in a design role, whether through industry experience, internships or placements
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Excellent layout, typography and visual communication skills
- The ability to interpret briefs and deliver commercially successful designs
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A positive, proactive and collaborative approach
Experience within consumer products, gifting, retail or packaging design would be highly advantageous.
