Juice Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and award-winning property lettings company, with the appointment of an experienced Lettings Compliance Manager to join their team.
This is a senior role where you’ll take ownership of legislation, compliance, and policy across the business – ensuring that landlords, tenants, and staff are fully supported, while keeping the business ahead of industry standards.
YOU WILL BE:
- Ensuring all properties are fully compliant with lettings legislation, including HMO licensing, AML, Gas Safety, EICRs, EPCs, Fire Safety, and landlord & tenant law.
- Developing, updating, and implementing company policies and procedures, providing training and guidance to staff.
- Acting as the business’s Data Protection Officer, overseeing GDPR compliance.
- Advising landlords, tenants, and colleagues on compliance issues and legislative requirements.
- Leading on compliance strategy, reporting directly to senior leadership.
- Coaching and supporting team members, becoming the go-to compliance expert within the business.
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
- 3 years’ experience in lettings at a senior level, with at least 2 years in compliance/legislation.
- Strong property management background and excellent working knowledge of UK lettings law.
- ARLA Level 3 qualification (essential).
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex legislation clearly and simply.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
