Juice Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading property business in Bath to recruit an experienced and dynamic Lettings Manager to oversee a busy and fast-paced team.
We’re seeking a confident, proactive leader with strong people-management skills and a track record of delivering results. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to steer both the residential and student lettings portfolios while ensuring exceptional service standards across the department. You’ll champion your team, support their development, and create a high-performing culture that consistently achieves outstanding outcomes.
DAY TO DAY:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing lettings team, setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.
- Identify training needs and create development plans to enhance skills and career progression.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, reporting to senior management and implementing improvement plans.
- Oversee the full lettings process, from marketing and viewings to negotiations and move-ins.
- Ensure the success of student lettings campaigns on behalf of individual and portfolio student landlords.
- Ensure compliance with lettings legislation and internal processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and partners.
- Work closely with the property management team to ensure seamless service delivery across the portfolio.
- Be involved in lettings appraisals and identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement.
WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
- Proven experience as a Lettings Manager with team leadership responsibilities.
- Strong background in people management, with motivating, training, and developing teams.
- Experience or understanding of student lettings and high-volume tenancy management.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance.
- Confidence using property management systems and CRM software.
- ARLA qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.
- A natural leader: someone who is confident, empathetic, and decisive.
- Calm under pressure with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Commercially aware with a customer-first mindset.
