MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Juice Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our fantastic client based in Bristol with their search for a Management Accountant, this is an opportunity to join a supportive team and play an important role across a varied client portfolio.
We are looking for a confident, proactive and commercially minded individual who enjoys working with numbers, building relationships and taking ownership of their work.
This role would suit an experienced Management Accountant, or an Accounts Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career and progress into a role of this calibre.
DAY TO DAY
Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting, reporting, control and analysis activities, alongside supporting process improvements and wider project work.
The role will include:
· Preparation and review of management accounts
· Preparation of year-end accounts
· Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviews
· Preparing and submitting VAT returns
· Assisting with general tax work
· Financial analysis and data reporting
· Supporting senior management with financial information and insights
· Developing a strong knowledge of financial systems and supporting system changes and improvements
· Identifying and investigating variances
· Working closely with clients and bookkeepers via telephone and email
· Ad hoc project work, with a focus on process improvement
· Using Xero to support day-to-day accounting and reporting requirements
WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE
We are ideally looking for someone with previous Management Accounting experience, although we would also consider a part-qualified or QBE candidate with strong and relevant accounting experience who is ready to progress.
You will ideally have:
· AAT, MAAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification / part-qualification, or equivalent experience
· Strong experience preparing management accounts
· Good understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, VAT and general accounting principles
· Experience using Xero or a similar accounting system
· Strong Excel skills
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· A confident and proactive approach to your work
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a range of clients and stakeholders
· The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a wider team

· £36,000 - £45,000 salary, depending on experience
