This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for a compassionate and driven professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support to adults with complex mental health needs. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring services are safe, compliant and recovery-focused, while empowering both service users and staff teams to achieve positive outcomes.
The day to day:
As Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of supported living services for individuals with complex mental health needs, including dual diagnosis, substance misuse, suicidal ideation and behaviours that challenge.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing mental health supported living services to ensure safe, therapeutic and person-centred care

Developing and implementing robust, evidence-based care plans and risk management strategies

Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and relevant legislation

Providing strong, visible leadership to motivate, coach and develop staff teams

Working collaboratively with families, external professionals and multi-agency partners

Promoting a trauma-informed and recovery-focused culture across services

Monitoring service performance, quality standards and safeguarding practices
-
Participating in the on-call rota (1 week in 5)
About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions

Strong understanding of recovery-focused practice and risk management

Experience working within a trauma-informed approach

Expertise in developing risk assessments and person-centred support plans

Strong leadership and team development skills
-
Thorough knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act and CQC regulations

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work across locations
Desirable:

Recognised managerial qualification

Experience supporting individuals with dual or complex diagnoses, learning disabilities and/or autism
