This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring HR professional or experienced Administrator looking to take the next step into a People-focused career. The Role
As People Coordinator, you'll provide essential support across recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and employee lifecycle activities, ensuring employees and managers receive a professional and efficient service at every stage of their journey.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating end-to-end recruitment administration across a variety of vacancies
- Managing interview scheduling and candidate communications
- Producing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation
- Supporting pre-employment screening and right-to-work checks
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Processing employee lifecycle changes, including starters, leavers and contractual amendments
- Supporting compliance activities and HR audits
- Assisting with absence monitoring and HR reporting
- Responding to first-line HR enquiries from employees and managers
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives and People projects
- Ensuring all recruitment and onboarding processes are completed in line with company policies and best practice
About You
We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with people and prides themselves on delivering an excellent service.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR, recruitment or a professional services environment
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Desirable experience includes:
- HR administration or recruitment coordination experience
- Knowledge of onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
- Experience working with HR systems
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or desire to work towards it
- Experience within education, public sector or regulated environments
