This opportunity would suit someone currently operating within a PR Manager role, either agency-side or in-house, who is looking for a fresh challenge. Equally, applications are welcomed from ambitious Senior PR professionals with proven management or mentoring experience looking to take the next step in their career.
The Day to Day
As PR Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of intelligent and commercially focused PR strategies across a diverse range of clients and sectors.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategic PR and media campaigns aligned to client objectives
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, media contacts and industry stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and support new business development activity
- Leading crisis communication activity and supporting clients through sensitive communications matters
- Overseeing the creation of high-quality PR materials including press releases, presentations and speeches
- Monitoring campaign performance, analysing results and adapting strategies to maximise ROI
- Managing, mentoring and developing a team of PR professionals
- Supporting performance reviews, coaching and career development within the team
- Working collaboratively across internal departments and external client networks
- Staying ahead of industry trends, media developments and evolving communications strategies
What You'll Have
- Previous experience within a PR, Communications or Media Relations role
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ PR experience with exposure to team leadership or management
- Agency experience would be advantageous, although not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing media relations and stakeholder engagement
- Understanding of crisis communications and strategic PR planning
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to spot growth opportunities within accounts
- Excellent organisation and project management skills
- Experience analysing campaign data and reporting on PR effectiveness
- A proactive, creative and solutions-focused approach
