Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-respected education provider in Gloucester in their search for an experienced Security Guard to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a vigilant and professional individual to play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors across a busy campus setting.
The Role:
As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for supporting the safeguarding and security of the campus, ensuring a safe learning environment is maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring access points and ensuring the security of buildings and grounds
- Carrying out regular patrols across the campus
- Responding to security incidents and emergencies as required
- Supporting safeguarding procedures and reporting any concerns appropriately
- Assisting students, staff, and visitors in a professional and approachable manner
- Maintaining accurate incident and security logs
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to uphold site safety standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current and valid SIA Licence
- Previous experience within a security or safeguarding-focused environment
- A strong understanding of safeguarding principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
